From Union Station, head over to Olvera Street, which is right across the street from the train station and is a fun cultural heritage site in the middle of Los Angeles.

Altadena's famous Deodar cedar trees have been lit with festive strings of holiday lights every year since 1920 in what is recognized as the oldest large-scale outdoor Christmas display in the world. Some of the houses are decorated, but the trees are the main attraction here, which create a colorful 0.7-mile pathway.
